The Academic Services Work-Study will support a variety of projects throughout the Office of Academics. Duties may include, but are not limited to, data entry, organizing files, creating/maintaining cloud-based forms, and working collaboratively with the Academic Services team on UCC wide strategic goals.
Accessibility Services is seeking a work-study to answer phones, take messages, maintain program files, accurate data entry is important, create and distribute program flyers, make phone calls as directed, and other duties as assigned.
Candidate will assist with general information dissemination regarding Allied Health programs to students and employees, provide clerical support to the Allied Health Coordinator, handle confidential information and materials, assist with record keeping, data entry and inventory tracking, provide support for the coordination of Allied Health Programs, as well as other duties as assigned.
The Hawk Shop is highly dependent on work-study students to assist with customer service, operating the cash register, giving the correct change, greeting customers, stocking supplies, cleaning, barista and other duties. Cashiering experience is preferred but not required for this position. A desire to learn customer service skills, and retail processes.
The Custodial work-study assists staff with various aspects of cleaning, including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping all areas as needed. Cleaning of tables, boards, chairs, and resetting classrooms. Cleaning of bathrooms, toilets, mirrors, counter tops, emptying trash, and receptacles for sanitary supplies. Internal and external cobwebbing, removal of fingerprints from glass and doors, other duties as assigned.
The Business Department office is looking for a student with some basic office and customer service skills. Work may involve but is not limited to making phone calls, answering questions, performing research and gathering information, and working with department staff and others on campus.
The Office of Early College is looking for someone that wants to develop skills related to event planning, campus tours, and office related tasks. This individual will work with Office of Early College staff, faculty, campus staff, and community partners.
A Work-Study is needed to scan FERPA related student documents from paper copy into the Laserfiche electronic filing system.

Are you a resident of student housing and want to earn some extra money? Work-study students are needed to assist with a variety of housekeeping duties. Duties include vacuuming, cleaning laundry rooms, bathrooms, emptying trash, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and other duties as assigned.
Work-Study students are needed to assist with the Information Desk. Assistant will answer the main telephone line for the campus, assist students and visitors with navigation around campus, departments or programs, while connecting them with resources.
The STEM/CTE Engineering Program is looking for a work-study to create and maintain an inventory Excel sheet for the Innovation Hub, organize lab equipment, help set up small group trainings for UCC students and staff, create “How To” instructions for equipment in the lab space, and other duties as assigned.
A Work-Study is needed to assist with providing technical support to users of desktop computers, telephone and office equipment. Duties include but are not limited to: providing corrective and preventative maintenance to computers and various office equipment, installation of and configuration of hardware/software of such equipment, equipment inventory and the pulling of cables as necessary.
With the expansion of Allied Health we are looking for a work-study to assist with the set-up and tear-down of skills stations for nursing students, staging Clinical Simulations, become familiar with the layout of the lab and where supplies are located, stocking, laundry, clear the ward, wipe down counters, take trash out, organize and inventory supplies, work with staff on student displays and event prep, and other duties as assigned.
The UCC Library is looking for work-study students to work with the Library Assistants and Clerks performing various duties in and around the library. The Library Aid will be asked to perform light cleaning, organization, help with projects, shelving of materials when appropriate, and other duties as assigned.

The Dental Assisting team is in need of a work-study who can assist with various tasks including, but not limited to: making copies, filing, helping maintain student records, creating documents and spreadsheets, record keeping, event planning, scheduling patients, and other duties as assigned.

A work-study student is sought to assist students with connecting to available resources both internal and external. This position will include fulfilling student resource requests from ASUCC and the Resource Navigator.
The Umpqua Valley STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) Hub has an extensive STEAM Lending Library that serves educators all over Douglas County. It is our major outreach and positively impacts hundreds of students.
Would you like to plan events to help make campus fun for your fellow students? Student Engagement is looking for you. This position will help the Student Engagement Coordinator develop, organize, and run extra-curricular activities and events for students.
A work-study is sought to greet customers as they enter the Testing Center and make the Coordinator aware of the arrivals, assist testing candidates in the check-in and check-out process when authorized by Testing Center Coordinator to do so.
